OPEN WATER DIVER

The Open Water Diver course is the standard first step into certified diving, and it’s still the best way to get properly comfortable in the water before you start exploring Roatán’s reef on your own terms. You’ll work through a mix of classroom material and hands-on skill sessions with a dedicated instructor, then put it into practice with four dives on the reef.

We keep instruction personal and paced to you — not a fixed script that moves on regardless of how you’re doing. By the end, you’ll be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 meters), anywhere in the world.

If you’d rather not spend vacation time in a classroom, you can complete the academic portion online before you arrive through e-learning, then come straight to the in-water skills and dives once you’re here — one of the easiest ways to get certified in Roatán without losing beach time.
